SUMMARY

The desert is a place consisting of sand, dry heat, vibrant rock formations, and relics.

Aside from the occasional F-16′s and highway passerbys, the Mojave can, at times, feel like a remnant of a post-nuclear apocalypse.  Scattered throughout the region are military towns left untouched for 30-years, races on dry lake beds, and four national parks within three states.

This ongoing series is meant to be a window into the Mojave sub-cultures and its majestic natural landscapes.
