SUMMARY

Every year since I’ve moved to Los Angeles, I’ve made it a personal goal to do a road trip at least once a year.

The past two years, I had driven, and backpacked the Pacific Coast.  I had camped on a 3-mile long Indian Reservation beach without a soul in sight, hiked through rainforests alongside Mt. Rainier, seen remnants of violent volcanic activity at Lassen, CA, and stood in awe at some of the oldest and tallest redwoods in the world.
